Dear Patrons,

We would like to thank each and everyone of you who had come to watch our play - Uttarabhoopa BeeChi. The show saw a houseful of audience and many of them had to return as tickets exhausted. We apologize for them and at this time, we would like to inform our audience that we will be staging repeat shows of this play very shortly. One is scheduled on 20th of January 2012 as a part of "Benglooru Habba" and is scheduled at Rangashankara itself.

We would shortly upload the snaps of this play in our Picasa account and will publish the link for all of you to watch them.

Our New Production for Nataka Bengaluru 2011- Uttara Bhoopa Beechi!! :-)

Dear Patrons,

We are coming to the stage again with a new production from Antharanga for "Nataka Bengaluru" theatre Festival 2011 - Uttarabhoopa Beechi - A comedy play based on the famous quotes of the great writer and philosopher Late Sri Rayasam Bheemasena Rao famously known as "BeeChi". N.C Mahesh, Kannada Lecturer at National College, Basavanagudi is the Playwright and Archana Shyam has taken up the responsibility of Set Design, Costume Design and Direction. The genre being Comedy, is being attempted for the first time by Archana Shyam after she has successfully directed the Serious plays - Shalabhanjike and Dharmastambha respectively in the year 2009 and 2010 incidentally for the same Theatre Festival - Nataka Bengaluru. This play has set a lot of expectations among the near and dear ones of Antharanga and also the Audience who always stood by Antharanga. For the first time in the history of Antharanga, we have recorded 6 songs in the professional recording Studio for this play. We have always thrived to give our best for the audience and since this time it's comedy, we believe we have a higher responsibility and hope to do the justice for the genre (being a difficult one) and the script. We need all your good wishes for our new productions. Hope to see you at the Auditorium on Friday, 23rd December 2011 at 7:30 PM at Rangashankara, Bangalore.
