Uttarabhoopa - A second houseful show!!!

Antharanga Stages Uttarabhoopa BeeChi - A Comedy play at Rangashankara

ರ೦ಗ ಬ೦ಧುಗಳೇ,

ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಹಾರ್ಧಿಕ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.

’ಅ೦ತರ೦ಗ’ವು ಈ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಮೊಟ್ಟಮೊದಲನೆಯ ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ – “ಉತ್ತರಭೂಪ ಬೀChi” ಯನ್ನು ಇದೇ ಜನವರಿ ಮಾಹೆಯ ೨೦ನೇ ತಾರೀಖು, ಶುಕ್ರವಾರದ೦ದು ನಗರದ “ರ೦ಗಶ೦ಕರ”ದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದು ಈ ನಾಟಕದ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಡಿಸೆ೦ಬರ್ ಮಾಹೆಯ ೨೩ನೇ ತಾರೀಖಿನ೦ದು ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. ಆಗ ರ೦ಗಮ೦ದಿರದ ಆಸನಗಳು ತು೦ಬಿ, ಸುಮಾರು ೫೦ಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಸಿಗದೇ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿದ್ದು, ಆಸಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊ೦ಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

Dear Patrons,

Antharanga wishes you a very happy new year 2012. 

We are staging very first show of this year 2012 at Rangashankara on 20th January 2012. 

On Friday, 20th January 2012, we will be staging the play "Uttarabhoopa BeeChi" at Rangashankara. This would be the second show of this play after its successful first show at Rangashankara on 23rd December 2011, when the play saw a houseful show and about 50 people had to go back without tickets. 

We are trying to reach as many interested people as possible so as to inform them that we are coming back to stage with our repeat shows of this play so that they can book their tickets at the earliest.

Feedback from a spectator of the play "Uttarabhoopa BeeChi"

Dear Patrons,

We would like to take this opportunity to share a moment of joy with all of you.

After we successfully staged the new play "Uttarabhoopa BeeChi" on 23rd December 2011 at Rangashankara, we received a call from Rangashankara stating that a post card has been received by them, addressed to Uncle Shyam. When we read that letter, we realized the power of theatre in connecting with the people with its performances!!.

An aged person, who had come to watch our play wholeheartedly praised the team for its performance and wrote this letter, which we will treasure for ever.
